Hine Cigar Reserve XO In Gift Box
Taste Profile: Cigar Reserve is an invitation to embark upon a Gauguin-like journey through precious wood and sweet cinnamon. Rich and corpulent in character, its exotic aromas reveal a taste for adventure. Its deep amber tones signal a cascade of aromatic complexity: zingy spices – fresh pepper and tobacco – underscore notes of walnut, honey and lightly toasted flavours. This Cognac is strong like a Havana, yet incredibly balanced.
Grape: Ugni Blanc
Serving Tips: This well-balanced Cognac pairs perfectly with a Havana cigar, but is equally subtle enough to be enjoyed neat.
About this Cognac: As you have probably noticed, Hine has a certain affinity to cigars - and the Hine Cognac XO Cigar Reserve is one of its most robust bottles. It was crafted by Bernard Hine in collaboration with Nicholas Freeman of the cigar purveyors, Hunter and Frankau. In combining their savoir-faire, they have produced a fine bodied blend. It is a blend of more than 25 different eaux-de-vie, ranging from four of the premium growing areas: Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies and Fins Bois. As an XO standard Cognac, it has been matured for at least 10 years in oak barrels in the Jarnac cellar of Hine Cognac.
