Tasting Profile: Deep amber colour. Aromas of roasted nectarines, ripe apricots and succulent melon inspire the lingering first sip, while orange resin, oak and vanilla give it a mature feel. Beautifully expressing the fruity flavours characteristic of the white wines produced from Charente vines. Ginger, chocolate, orange and oak slowly fade into a finish of dried fruits.

About this Cognac: A terrific VSOP from Hine, Rare is classed as Fine Champagne, meaning that the eaux-de-vie used are all from the Grande or Petite Champagne areas. Around twenty-five distinct eaux-de-vie have been used for the Hine Rare VSOP blend, made from Ugni Blanc grapes from the Grande Champagne (60%) and Petite Champagne (40%) appellations and aged six to twelve years in French Limousin oak barrels.
