Matua Pinot Noir 2020

Taste Profile: This Pinot Noir is a vibrant cherry color, exuding an aroma of sweet raspberry complimented with sweet and spicy oak, just hinting at the layers and depth of fresh and fruity flavor. Bright and energetic to taste, it is brimming with red fruit and soft, supple tannins, perfectly seasoned with a dash of oak for those light toasty notes. For the finale is a fresh, lingering finish that is simply moreish.

Grape: 100% Pinot Noir.

Serving Tips: Pairs well with grilled steak, seafood or pasta dishes.

Winemaking: The grapes are soaked in cold water for three days to give the wine greater colour and develop the flavour. Before bottling, Matua’s Pinot Noir is aged in lightly-charred French oak barrels for six months.
