Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Taste Profile: Deep ruby colour. Aromas typical of the variety & terrior - cedar, bramble and toasted tobacco. The palate has wonderful mouth-filling flavours of blackberry, cassis and vanilla. French oak barrels add a complex toastiness. Alluring in its youth but will reward those who resist temptation and cellar the wine. Full flavoured with dark fruits and spice this is a lovely example of how well the Stellenbosch terroir and Cabernet Sauvignon vines work together to make great wine.

Grape: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Serving Tips: Enjoy now after decanting for 45 minutes or cellar through 2026. Serve with red meats, game and hard cheeses.

Winemaking: To create the perfect soil environment for our Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards, many large, sub-surface granite boulders were excavated and blown up with dynamite. One of the boulders required over 300 charges, necessitating a very long fuse.
