Grape: 60% Bas-Armagnac, 40% Ténarèze

Serving Tips: The highest-quality Armagnac is usually enjoyed after dinner as a contemplative drink. It should be served at cool room temperature and allowed to warm in the glass, which slowly releases waves of aroma. Pour about 1 inch of Armagnac into a thin tulip-shaped glass or a snifter. About this Armagnac: Larressingle VSOP Armagnac is produced from a cross-vintage blend of Armagnacs 5 to 7 years of age, as opposed to the legal minimum of four, and exclusively from wines from the Bas Armagnac and Ténarèze districts. To produce the light, smooth texture expected in the finest Armagnacs, 20% of the blend is double-distilled and aged in 400-liter Monlezun oak barrels.
